This Business Administrator Apprenticeship is suitable for anyone who is involved in an administration focused role in any industry.
It aims to develop a highly transferable set of skills, knowledge and understanding across a range of administrative practices and tasks, which can be applied to all industries. As part of the apprenticeship, learners will study the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma for the Business Administrator.
The objective of the qualification is to support a business administrators role in the workplace, providing the learners the opportunity to learn and evidence their knowledge and skills.
We have partnered with Mindful Education to deliver this Apprenticeship through our Online and On Campus model. Apprentices will attend college (or virtual sessions) will study online materials during allotted time at work.
Online: Llessons can be accessed at any time, using a mobile, tablet or desktop - meaning apprentices can fit their study around work commitments, minimising disruption in the workplace. Each lesson lasts around 45 minutes and is accompanied by animations and motion graphics to bring concepts to life. Exercises, interactive case studies and analytical tools help to enhance the learning experience further. Learners will be expected to spend 3-4 hours a week working on VLE-related activities.
On Campus: Apprentices benefit from face-to-face classes at college (or virtually) with an experienced tutor. A combination of classroom-based lessons, group exercises and discussion encourage apprentices to apply theory to real-life workplace situations.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment is through a combination of online tests, work-based projects and by completing a portfolio of evidence. Apprentices must pass the end-point assessment to achieve the Apprenticeship certificate. The end-point assessment for the Business Administrator Apprenticeship includes a knowledge test, a project presentation and a portfolio interview.
Assessment for the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma for the Business Administrator is through a combination of online tests and a portfolio of learning.

Progression & Career Opportunities
On completion of this qualification learners may progress to higher level business administration qualifications or on to ILM or CMI leadership and management qualifications.

Cost of Study
All course fees associated with Apprenticeships are paid by the employer. If your employer pays into the Apprenticeship Levy your fees will be paid through this process. If your employer is not a levy paying employer then training for 16 18 year old learners is free and the training is subsidised for Apprentices over 19 years old. Course fees paid by the employer will vary but are likely to be in the region of £300 £1200 depending on the qualification.
