Buckinghamshire College Group welcomes students aged 16+ who wish to develop their vocational skills and knowledge.
The College ethos is to encourage maximum independence on the part of students to enable them to progress positively into the world of work and independent living.
The College offers a wide range of vocational courses, both full and part time. The full-time College provision for students aged 16-19 (up to 25 with an EHCP) is often referred to as “the Study Programme”. The Study Programme combines vocational learning with support through tutorial classes, digital skills development, career coaching, work experience, Maths and English study as appropriate.
Young people with special education needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are welcome to apply for any course at our College if they meet the entry requirements. Entry requirements reflect the level of study required to enable you to be successful on the course, and the requirements of awarding bodies and employment sectors. All students with an EHCP will have to go through the consultation process to ensure we can meet needs before a place can be offered.
On application please tell us you have a SEND need we will send out a support questionnaire for you to fill in, this enable us to support you effectively with strategies to learning.
Bucks College Group is part of Buckinghamshire Council’s “Local Offer”.
