Performance Coaches are a key feature of the Study Programme at Buckinghamshire College Group and students have regular tutorials with specialist their Coaches, who work with both individuals and groups.
They provide tutorials which include focusing on developing positive growth mind-sets, developing skills and attitudes that support learning and getting students ready for employment. They also support students in planning progression including UCAS, CV writing, interview skills, career planning and much more. Study Programmes also include maths and English if the student has not yet achieved a Grade 4/C at GCSE level, and this is an essential element of the programme – employers repeated report that young employees are lacking skills in these key areas and adults who do not hold these qualifications find seeking work more difficult.
