T Levels are new two-year, Level 3 study programmes that follow the study of GCSEs and Technical Awards at Key Stage 4 and offer an attractive alternative to A Levels and Apprenticeships.
T Levels combine classroom theory, practical learning with a minimum 315 hours of industry placement with an employer to make sure students have real experience of the workplace.
During the two-year programme, students will learn the core knowledge that underpins each industry and they will also develop occupationally specific skills that will allow them to enter skilled employment within a specific occupation.
This course is suitable for young people interested in a career in Business Management and Administration. This course is designed to equip individuals with the skills, knowledge and understanding required for a range of roles in organisations within the business sector.

What will I learn?
You will develop an understanding of a broad range of issues relevant to the sector, including:

Business Context an overview of organisational cultures and values, different types of internal and external stakeholder, different forms of governance and the impact of organisations on society and the environment.

Project and Change Management an understanding of the common change management theories and models and how to support and improve projects

Business Behaviours the importance of good communication and adapting social communication styles to professional standards and according to purpose, medium and audience
- Quality and Compliance the importance of maintaining and improving quality in all aspects of public and private sector organisations
In addition to the core content, each student will also complete at least one module of occupation-specific content. The specialisms available in the T Level in Management and Administration are:

How will I be assessed?
The core is assessed by two external core exams and an Employer Set Project which is set by the Exam Board after consultation with Employers. The occupational specialism is assessed by an extensive synoptic skills-related project (a project that will draw on all the skills you have learnt).

Entry Requirements
To join this programme you will need 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (or equivalent) including Maths and English.

Progression & Career Opportunities
Students can either go into industry, into an apprenticeship or onto university. This course supports progression to entry-level job opportunities in Business Administration and Management.
Job roles could include: Office Manager, Human Resources, Administration, Marketing and Management.
