Buckinghamshire College Group is excited to be able to offer the new Education and Childcare T Level from September 2021. This T level will have two pathways - Early Years Educator and Assisting Teaching. This is a two-year programme (or three-year if studying a transition programme) and will be available at Aylesbury and Wycombe campuses.
The CACHE developed Level 3 Technical Qualification in Education and Childcare - Early Years Educator pathway will provide learners with the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to progress into skilled employment or higher level technical training or study in the education and childcare sector.
Learners who successfully achieve the Early Years Educator occupational specialism will be counted in the employment ratios for early years and childcare settings.
Industry placements are an integral component within T Levels and are intended to provide students with the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for skilled employment in their chosen occupation and which are less easily attainable by doing a qualification alone.
