A message from our Chair

Martin Tugwell

"It is an immense privilege to take over the role of Chair of Governors. I am delighted to be working with such a fantastic leadership team and group of Governors, all of whom are committed to ensuring that Buckinghamshire College Group delivers for our students, our businesses, and our community.

I became involved with the College in July 2022 and was immediately struck by the passion, commitment, and vision of all those that form part of the College family. Attending my first annual student awards evening left me in awe at the journey our students undertake whilst with us at the College, and where that then takes them. Never has it been more critical to continue to provide the opportunity for our students to unlock their dreams and realise their potential.

As Governors we share a common desire to support the College in maintaining a safe, stimulating, and secure environment for all our students. Delivering the substantial investment in new facilities for our students represents a huge opportunity for the College and as Governors we are committed to working with the leadership team to realise that vision.

As a team of volunteers from the local community, and staff and student groups we are here to support, and challenge where appropriate. Together we are committed to seeing the College continue to grow and be at the heart of the Buckinghamshire community."
