How will I be assessed?
The T Level in Marketing is assessed through a combination of methods designed to evaluate both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Students will undertake a core component that includes examinations and assessments, graded from A* to E, similar to A Levels. Additionally, they will complete an occupational specialism that is assessed using a Pass, Merit, or Distinction grading system.
A significant part of the T Level experience includes a compulsory industry placement, which requires students to engage in at least 315 hours (approximately 45 days) of hands-on work in a relevant marketing environment. This real-world experience is essential, as it helps students apply their learning in practical settings and develop crucial skills that employers seek.
