Our Level 1 Health, Social Care and Children’s and Young Peoples Settings Students have become Dementia Friendly Aylesbury’s first Dementia friends of 2022.
Last Wednesday, our Level 1 Diploma in Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children’s and Young Peoples Settings took part in a Zoom call for Dementia Friendly Aylesbury’s #WednesdayWave. Dementia Friendly Aylesbury aims to create a more dementia friendly community and is officially recognised by the Alzheimer’s Society. Our Dementia Champion Benedicta, hopes to inform as many residents, schools, businesses and community groups as possible about dementia.
The quote of the session went out to one of our students Katie, who said ‘Dementia will never change you’.
