Since the start of the academic year, our Level 2 Brickwork students have gained over 200 hours of work experience at the Kingsbrook School Development site.
The students have been spending one of their days off gaining further training at the new development. Throughout their time, they have combined theory and practical study, covering areas such as cold weather working, installing fire barriers and brickwork requirements. Provided by Morgan Sindall, The Knowledge Quad gives students the opportunity to witness site working and learn in a safe environment. Thanks to the success of the Level 2’s, on the 12th January a further 10 students made up from Brickworks Level 1 and Construction Level 1, began their further training.
We would like to thank to Morgan Sindall Construction for supporting our students throughout their studies and our WorkZone Team for making it all possible. The WorkZone team are hopeful that by Easter, all students taking part will have completed their work experience hours.
