At the end of March our Fashion Retail and Communications students hosted their very own Sustainable Charity Fashion Show to help raise money for Florence Nightingales Hospice.
The Fashion Show took place on the 31st March 2022 at our Aylesbury Campus and was held as a fundraiser for Florence Nightingale’s Hospice. Tickets cost £10, which bought you entrance to the event, a Prosecco or Soft Drink and Canapés. The students also held a raffle, and invited local businesses to occupy a stall at the event.
Overall, the event was a huge success and the students managed to raise an amazing £1000 for the charity.
Firstly, we would like to thank the Florence Nightingales Hospice for kindly working alongside our Fashion students, and a huge thank you to the people that purchased a ticket and attended the event.
We would also like to congratulate all our Fashion Retail and Communication students on their hard work and success.Finally, we would like to thank Penny Kelley, Fashion Retail and Communications Lecturer and Nicola Hieatt, Industry Placement Officer who made this event truly come to life.
