In October, some Level 3 Year 2 students from Music Performance took over the afternoon show at Wycombe Sound. They used the opportunity to showcase both their musical and production talents.

There was a variety of singing, guitar plating and possibly the first ever tuba recital on the station. The students spoke about their course as well as what inpried them to write or pay the songs they performed. The show was a great success for both the station and the students. It proved to be the perfect opportunity to put everything they had learnt so far, into action.

Student Ellie said,

I was a different type of work experiance and I really enjoyed it. It gave me the opportunity to sing and play some of my origional songs on the radio!

Keith Higgins at Wycombe Sound said,

They all did exceptionally well. Joe showcased amazing talent on the tuba. Ellie, Liv and Connie san a mixture of cover versionbs and their own compisitions and sounded superb. Well done also to Amber who produced the show and made sure I was fully up to say with information about the singers, performers adn their music.
