I. Stephanie Boyce, former President and Vice President of The Law Society speaks to students about her story and how she pushed against adversity and became the first ethnic minority to become President of The Law Society of England and Wales in its almost 200 year history.
This October, Buckinghamshire College Group is celebrating Black History Month. In support of the campaign, we're re-sharing a video recorded by I. Stephanie Boyce who shares her journey and inspires students and staff to never give up on their goals.
I. Stephanie Boyce is an inspirational black female leader, and has been widely recognised for everything she has achieved and will still go onto achieve. Having grown up in Aylesbury in the 70's, she was driven to provide access to justice for all. After witnessing racial injustice across the world, she was determined to make a difference. Although she is no longer the President or Vice-President of The Law Society, I. Stephanie continues to champion the rights of all, regardless of their race, gender, disability, sexuality, religion or background.
We would like to thank I. Stephanie Boyce for such an inspiring video. It has been widly appreciated by both staff and students across Buckinghamshire College Group.
