Students from our Events Management & Visitor Economy course recently showcased their talents by organising a highly successful networking event at our Aylesbury campus. The event, held on the 26th of February, provided students with a valuable opportunity to connect with industry professionals, gain insights into the business world, and build confidence in their networking abilities.
As part of their course, students took full ownership of the event, managing everything from planning and logistics to hosting and facilitating discussions. To keep things engaging, attendees took part in a game of networking bingo, where students and business professionals had to find connections based on key facts, sparking conversations in a natural and enjoyable way. The event also featured a speed-dating-style networking format, allowing students to rotate around the room and speak with a range of industry experts. Their efforts resulted in a dynamic and engaging experience, bringing together professionals from various sectors to share their expertise and offer career advice.
Students who attended the event had the chance to engage in meaningful conversations with industry experts, ask questions about career pathways, and gain insights into the latest trends in various sectors. A special thank you goes to all the business professionals who took the time out of their busy schedules to attend the event and share their wisdom with our students. Their support plays a crucial role in preparing the next generation of business leaders and shaping their future success.
