We have an extensive and varied programme of training for everyone who works at Buckinghamshire College Group. The programme has been developed in response to identified professional development needs arising from Performance Management Reviews, Professional Development course feedback, lesson observations, self-assessment and other sources. It is designed for all staff so that they truly feel part of a learning culture in which their development needs and achievements are valued and recognised.
As a member of staff you can expect the following:
- Performance reviews based on personal targets derived from the College’s strategic objectives
- The Advanced Practitioners, Learning Technology Team and ILT Champions provide individual, group support and learning sessions throughout the year
- Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
- Staff Development Week in July and other staff development days
- Staff Development Hour once a month
- Guests speaking on a variety of relevant topics
- The opportunity to gain a teaching qualification
- Access to a range of on-line courses and materials
