Becoming a Lecturer
If you're skilled, passionate and qualified to at least Level 3 in your area of expertise, teaching might be for you. Sharing your industry knowledge and experience - you could be teaching and inspiring the next generation of professionals.
We give careful support and guidance to our new tutors. Most start with a limited number of hours on a Variable Hours basis, and progress from there. Some start teaching with us whilst working towards their teaching qualification. All of our vacancies are advertised on our website.
Which qualifications do I need for lecturing?
You can study for teaching qualifications whilst lecturing, however you must be qualified to at least Level 3 in your area of expertise – or degree level in some professional and academic subjects.
The Level 4 Award in Education and Training is an introductory teacher training course. You can take it before you start teaching, or shortly after. You can follow it up with the Level 4 Certificate and then the Level 5 Diploma qualification. This can lead to Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS)

Business Support Roles
We have an interesting variety of support roles which range from direct classroom support for students, through to technician, security and cleaning, nursery and administrative positions. Details of specific qualifications and experience are detailed on each advertised vacancy.
