Buckinghamshire College Group's Level 3 Acting students invite you to see their stage adaptation of Charles Dickens' 'Great Expectations'!
First published in 1861, 'Great Expectations' follows the adventures of the orphan Pip and his fateful encounters with an escaped convict, Magwitch, a rich, venegeful spinster, Miss Havisham, and her adopted daughter, the disdainful Estella.
Evening shows will take place on 4th, 5th and 6th December 2019 at 18:30pm. Adult tickets are £7 and concessions £5. Students are also offering a free matinee performance for schools that are studying the text as part of their curriculum on Friday 6th December.
For evening performances, you can book tickets by visiting https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/buckinghamshire-college-group/great-expectations/e-xdkoka.
Additionally, our students can bring scenes from the stage adaptation to individual schools, followed by a Q&A session, in order to give pupils studying the text an opportunity to talk to them about their characters. Please email Irene Rambota (Course Leader - Acting for Stage and Screen) to book tickets for the matinee performance: This email address is being protected from spambots.
