The second year FdA Musical Theatre students have submitted their final performance for the module Devising and Community.
Due to the current situation, Course leader, Jo Roots, adapted the module to produce a film to engage with their target audience in choosing a relevant theme that was both relevant and appropriate to their target audience.
Each individual student has worked exceptionally hard, demonstrating commitment, engagement and motivation since we found ourselves in lockdown. They have worked professionally and collaboratively in creating their own company, producing a film and delivering a workshop for their target audience ( 16 - 21 year old ) They have been actively marketing their company on all social platforms, creating trends to encourage the promotion of and fundraising for the charity MIND . The aim and focus in producing their film was to educate, support and encourage their peer group to talk about mental health especially in the current situation of isolating at home.
Congratulations to the students for adapting so well in challenging times, and thank you for sharing your work with us.
