This Month, some of our Level 1 Carpentry students travelled to Watford to visit their £400 million regeneration project.
The project will transform 70 acres of land into new homes, shops, community facilities and open spaces. The students were invited by Jarvis Contracting to tour the site and to also have a careers 'question and answer' session with the site management team and the Carpentry sub-contractor.
Plans have been made for all those students who progress next year onto Level 2 Carpentry to return to the site to see the progress and the beginning of phase 2.
