This September, the Science Department at our Wycombe Campus welcomed a new group of Year 1 Criminal and Forensic Investigation Students. They began their studies with a day-long introduction to Forensic Investigation.
The day was organised, planned and delivered by the Year 2 Criminal and Forensic Investigation students who made use of the whole campus, to set up four different forensic-based activities. Each activity was managed by a group of the Year 2 students who helped guide the Year 1 students through the requirements.
The students were introduced to the analysis of blood and fingerprints, mock crime scenes and murder investigation, Microbiology, Microscopy and finally Archaeology.
A huge thank you to all those students involved in the success of the day, and to Charlotte Leete, Criminal and Forensic Tutor and Deanna Everson, Science Technician for supporting all the students.
