Khadija started her journey with Buckinghamshire College Group back in 2019 where she first enrolled on our English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) course. Once successfully passing Level 1 and Level 2 ESOL, Khadija began studying for her Level 1 in Health and Social Care before deciding to do an Apprenticeship once that course was completed. Khadija was employed by Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust as part of her Level 3 Standard Senior Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship, which she went onto successfully complete.
With her journey being so inspiring, in 2023 Khadija was nominated and won our 'Apprentice of the Year' Award in our annual Student Awards Ceremony (See Photo). Part of her nomination, given by Assessor in Care, Lanie read "Khadija makes a real difference at work. She delivers safe and compassionate care and has a smile for everyone.
