National Colleges Week is taking place right now (15th – 19th October) with the aim of getting the government to boost Further Education funding, whilst highlighting the benefits of FE institutions through a ‘Love our Colleges’ campaign.
Buckinghamshire College Group is making its own contribution to raise awareness for the campaign thanks to the involvement of creative students at the college who have produced some striking images. They involved Media Make-up students who have used their hands, faces and arms to spell out the Love our Colleges message.
Today, Wednesday 17th, a national lobby of Parliament took place, which involved principals lobbying MPs and education trade unionists marching and then rallying in Parliament Square. You can find out more about National Colleges Week and pledge your support here.
