National Apprenticeship Week is an annual week-long celebration of Apprenticeships across England and is a time to recognise and applaud Apprenticeship success stories across the country.
Tyrece Koistan (in green), a former Performing Arts student at Buckinghamshire College Group has recently signed with a new girl group, Venus. Venus are a brand new UK girl group who have just released their debut single entitled Where My Girls At.
In March 2021 we announced that we were exploring the possibility of a modern, purpose-built campus for technical, professional and vocational skills, education and training in the centre of Wycombe.
Following a full inspection in November 2021 from Ofsted, Buckinghamshire College Group has been awarded an overall effectiveness grade of “Good”, it’s first as a merged college following its formation in 2017. A large team of inspectors visited campuses in Aylesbury, Amersham and Wycombe to meet students, staff and observe lessons. They graded the College in eight key areas finding it to be “Good” in all but one type of provision.

Our Game Design & Development teaching staff will take part in a curriculum development day with games industry experts, teacher CPD events, and will be partnered with a major UK Games studio as part of Into Games ground-breaking “Studio Live” simulated virtual work experience. We will also be provided with one specialised industry speaker per term to align with curriculum teaching, and receive guidance on how to get the best out of Into Games’ free resources like the Video Games Ambassador’s program.
Since the start of the academic year, our Level 2 Brickwork students have gained over 200 hours of work experience at the Kingsbrook School Development site.
Our Level 1 Health, Social Care and Children’s and Young Peoples Settings Students have become Dementia Friendly Aylesbury’s first Dementia friends of 2022.
Back in November 2021, our Entry 3 Foundation Learning Students took part in Parliament Week. UK Parliament Week is an annual event that engages people from across the UK with Parliament. The week in 2021 showed a focus on how small actions can lead to big changes.
