This September, our Aylesbury Campus played host to mark the first phase of the Thames Valley Autism Alert Card roll out in Buckinghamshire.
To celebrate the launch of our new T Level qualifications and T Level Week, our Executive Director of Curriculum Planning and Design, Richard Kirkham invited the Member of Parliament for Aylesbury, Rob Butler to visit the campus and tour the new facilities.
Digital skills student Charlotte Smale-Holland came 3rd out of 30,000 people from colleges and universities across the UK and Ireland in the Microsoft Office Specialist Championships.
Over the Summer Break, our Amersham Campus played host to our Film and TV Summer School.
This July saw one of our Animation and VFX students, Luis-James Yarroll nominated by one of our Media Lecturers, Simon Claydon to take part in an event hosted by the University of the Arts London.
During the summer all three of our campuses have been preparing for the start of the new T Level qualifications. This September our new T Level students have enjoyed walking in to new specially designed and purpose built suites, classrooms and labs. These new facilities have enhanced our campuses with a modern look and are completed with new industry standard equipment.
Throughout this year, our Fashion Communication and Retail Students have been working in partnership with the well-known brand Dr. Martens.
Back in May 2020, the brand was contacted by Nicola Hieatt, Industry Placement Officer who reached out to the company regarding any online material they may be offering for students while they studied from home.
At the end of July, Pauline Aries who worked at the college for many years in Science and Sport at our Aylesbury Campus will be cycling from Whitehaven to Newcastle (138 miles) to help raise money for Suzie Aries’ Immunotherapy Fund.
