The Thames Valley Inclusive College League is a new football league for players with disabilities currently enrolled in Further Education (FE) or Higher Education (HE) institutions. The League provides a fun but competitive experience for disabled players to continue playing football throughout their studies.

Fourteen of our Health and Social Care students have been selected to become Nurse Cadets at two local hospitals in Aylesbury and Wycombe.  The cadet scheme gives experience in a number of areas and aims to help people decide which career route they may wish to follow. 

Students studying Level 2 & 3 Diploma in Fashion, Communication and Retail were recently given a wonderful opportunity by House Of Fraser in Aylesbury.  Students Tinisha, Faith and Amber joined the Visual Merchandising department in the run up to the Christmas season. 

Buckinghamshire College Group’s Level 3 Acting for Stage & Screen students went to the National Theatre to see Jake Lampert, who graduated from the Level 3 Acting course in 2014, in 'Master Harold and the boys’ by Athol Fugard.  

UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts student, Amelie Royle impressed at her auditions and will now star with West End Kids, one of the UK’s best song and dance troupes at the age of 17!

The Entertainer, the fastest-growing, family owned high street toy retailer in the UK, has joined forces with the Buckinghamshire College Group to upskill and nurture the talent of tomorrow. The Entertainer will be taking 11 students into their workplace at their head office in Amersham, Buckinghamshire to expose them to the world of business, excite them about their future and allow the students to experience working life.

Bucks College Group has been proudly supporting ‘Love Our Colleges’ week, a national campaign aiming to raise awareness about the both the wonderful work colleges do and the challenges they face. The Love Our Colleges campaign is a partnership, calling on government to invest in our people by investing in our colleges.
