This qualification is for those individuals who wish to learn skills and knowledge in property maintenance with the view to seeking employment within this field when completed.

What will I learn?
Learners will cover knowledge, skills and behaviours for the technical areas of tiling, plastering, plumbing and drainage, painting and decorating, carpentry and joinery, building systems and maintenance to external property areas.

Externally marked exam and practical assessments.

Entry Requirements
To join this course, you will need GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above in both English and Maths.
Applicants will preferably already be working in a related industry. Entry is also subject to an interview, basic skills screening and initial assessment.

Progression & Career Opportunities
Upon successful completion, you may proceed onto an apprenticeship or into employment as a maintenance operations technician/operative in a wide range of premises/organisations.
