Music performance and technology courses at the college's Amersham campus have been running for well over 15 years and during this time tutors have seen many students achieve fame and recognition. Former student Charlie Cunningham, who plays guitar, is one example of how students on the course have flourished.
Level 2 Electrical students from Wycombe Campus recently had the opportunity to visit a building site in Amersham this week to check out the electrical instalations in a large block of retirement apartments being built by McCarthy & Stone construction.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Week took place at Bucks College Group last week and included an art exhibition by students and staff, talks to staff by various individuals invited in for the occasion and a special celebratory event on Friday where staff and students were rewarded for their artistic skills with prizes handed out by Ian Barham (Chair of Governors) and John McGrath, Vice Principal Corporate Services for the college.
Ex-Foundation Degree Musical Theatre student Robyn Rose recently finished her West End debut in the Book of Mormon musical and now Bucks College Group can announce that another recent Higher Education student, Tre Copeland-Williams, has joined the UK tour of the Book of Mormon, which opens in June in Manchester.
Buckinghamshire College Group students were victorious in this year's Dave Earle Youth Challenge (formerly the Mark Webber Challenge) at RAF Halton this week, having previously won the prestigious trophy in 2018.

Performing arts students at the Amersham campus recently welcomed West End performer Tristan Crabtree to the College. Tristan delivered a stage combat and fight workshop to Musical Theatre Level 3 Students in preparation for their next performance - Urinetown the Musical, which will be playing at Theatre on the Hill, Amersham Campus on June 13th and 14th at 7:30pm.
Last week, Level 3 Acting for Stage & Screen students were thrilled to be involved with the local community by performing two pieces of Children’s Theatre at a local primary school, St George's C of E Infant School in Amersham.
