Buckinghamshire College Group are proud to announce a new partnership with Pinewood Studios, providing exciting new Higher National Certificate courses designed by industry professionals to introduce you to a career in film and television.

 Performing Arts students are staging two major productions this month at the College’s Theatre on the Hill at the Amersham Campus which are open the public and college students. 

The first of these is a reimagined performance of Mozart’s 1791 fairytale opera The Magic Flute staged by Buckinghamshire College Group’s Level 2 and 3 dance students. Performances take place on 5, 6, and 7th December at 7.30pm and  tickets are priced £7 Adults, £5 Concessions. 

Tom Warland, a photography tutor at the Amersham campus has recently graduated with an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the London College of Communication.  The BBC have taken an interest in the 'The British Heritage Project' he produced at the postgraduate show  which was recently presented to the public at an exhibition in London.

 University Campus Aylesbury Vale was the scene for the College’s graduating National Citizen Service students this month who have worked in partnership with Action4Youth and Buckinghamshire College Group. NCS is a growing youth movement for all teenagers aged 15-17 to discover who they are and what they can do.

Students from Public Services took centre stage during this year's annual Remembrance service held at our Aylesbury Campus. Lead by veteran and Public Services tutor Wayne Davies, the students from our Level 2 and 3 courses helped the College pay respect and remember the members of the armed forces who have died in the line of duty.

Buckinghamshire College Group has been Highly Commended  in the Group of the Year Award category at the Bucks and Milton Keynes Sport Awards 2018, which took place at the Waterside Theatre, Aylesbury on November 22.

Students from Buckinghamshire College Group were featured on BBC News today as part of a story  about the ‘Inspiration Programme’ organised by Action4Youth.  The organisation aims to provide fun, transformational experiences for all young people whatever their background or ability. 

Ninety-eight students from Public Services, Sport and Health and Social Care from the Aylesbury campus recently took part in the Calecote Xpereince, a residential community project (NCS) with Action4Youth over the course of two weeks at Caldecotte Park, Milton Keynes.
