Buckinghamshire College Group recently participated in WorldSkills UK Game Jam, where Level 3 Games Development and T Level Digital, Design & Development students showcased their creativity and teamwork. This event provided a unique opportunity for participants to enhance their game design, planning, and digital skills.

Our incredible Level 3 Special Effects Makeup students have been busy honing their skills with two exciting projects, diving deep into the world of realistic burn effects and mold casting.
The first year Graphic Design & Illustration students recently took part in an exciting practical workshop in the College’s print room. As part of their curriculum, the students were introduced to the intricate art of screen printing, learning both traditional and modern techniques that will serve as a foundation for their future design work.
This week, Buckinghamshire College Group welcomed students to a fun and vibrant start to the new academic year with the annual Freshers’ Fair, hosted across all three of our campuses; Aylesbury, Wycombe and Amersham. The event, designed to introduce students to the wide range of opportunities available on campus and beyond, was a resounding success, drawing hundreds of attendees.
Our talented level 3 Art & Design students have successfully completed a vibrant mural project for Buckinghamshire New University, transforming three blank walls at the Aylesbury campus into eye-catching displays of creativity.
Our T Level Media students have hit the ground running this academic year, working on exciting live briefs and developing their skills using industry-standard equipment. This hands-on approach allows students to immerse themselves in real-world scenarios, building the practical and technical abilities they’ll need to succeed in their future careers.
Buckinghamshire College Group is delighted to celebrate the achievements of our students who received their GCSE results today. These results mark a significant improvement for many students, reflecting their hard work, perseverance and determination to succeed.
