The brand new nationwide competition for trainee hairdressers will be held at the Aylesbury Campus this year! The Concept Hair Apprentice of the Year competition will see up to 840 learners compete over six regional heats, one of which is being held at Bucks College Group.
Salon owners, training managers and college lecturers have entered their students and Apprentices into the competition, including some of our very own students who will be competing.
The events, organised by Concept Hair Magazine, will celebrate the UK's best hairdressing and barbering students as they aim to achieve national recognition at the beginning of their careers.
There are incredible prizes up for grabs, including goody bags for everyone who enters and a variety of hair tools and training opportunities from the competition sponsors.
The competition will display a range of styles over five distinct categories - styling, hair up, barbering, colouring and avant-garde, while keeping to the themes of Peaky Blinders, The Great Gasby, prom hair and 'fire and ice.'
