Buckinghamshire College Group is proud to announce its recent approval as an approved training organisation for the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). This endorsement enables HealthTec, a division of the College, to offer a range of essential training courses to CITB levy-registered construction companies across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Milton Keynes.
The approved courses include:
- Manual Handling
- Fire Warden Training
- First Aid at Work
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- Face Fit Testing (construction-based applications)
This new development not only enhances the College’s training portfolio but also provides a valuable opportunity for a broader selection of construction employers to engage with Buckinghamshire College Group. By delivering these critical courses, the College aims to support the professional development of the local construction workforce and strengthen ties with industry partners.
Emma Butt, Managing Partner at Adroit Services, recently booked a training session through the CITB partnership and shared her experience:
“This year six of our bathroom installers undertook Emergency First Aid at Work training with the Healthtec department at Bucks College Group. While this is a serious and important qualification, they had a really fun and engaging day with Evie leading them through the course material. Through the CITB we received very generous funding towards the course and our contact Nicola kindly organised the whole thing for us which was really helpful and gave me time to focus on other activities for the reast of the team. I’d recommend any construction company to engage with the CITB, however small. We receive funding towards our apprentices as well have having a wealth of other courses available to us. It’s a bonus that Nicola is also on hand help guide us through the courses on offer from quality training providers like Healthtec at Buckinghamshire College Group.”
