Harlequin sprung floors, the biggest name in the dance floor business, has laid a new sprung floor for performing arts students at the Amersham campus. The new floor offers assurance of better protection from injuries for dancers with reduced risk of injury through impact, slipping or falling.
The 8 x 16 metre floor has been expertly laid by Harlequin staff and features a number of layers with a foam sandwich topped with woodply and a vinyl coating to finish.
“This floor is the best in the business and a big investment for the college,” said Julie Gilespie, Head of Creative Industries. “Our performing arts courses remain extremely popular – enhanced by experienced tutors, strong links to West End performers and great facilities including four further rehearsal spaces and a fully-equipped theatre to commercial standards.”
